 What's New for the 2019 Subaru Legacy?

The Legacy has been a favorite for those who need a car that can handle tough road conditions for years. In 2019, this fuel-efficient and sporty vehicle continues to just get better with the addition of several new features. Coming standard on all trim levels for 2019 will be the EyeSight system. This system gives drivers a ton of safety features, including pre-collision braking, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assist.

On the base trim, 2019 will see an upgrade to STARLINK 6.5-inch radio with a single CD player. This also comes with SiriusXM satellite radio. If you go with the 2.5i Sport, you will get even more features for your safety. Drivers will get blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assist, and rear cross-traffic detection. For your top-of-the-line trims, drivers will see an auto-dimming rearview mirror come standard.

You have two options for engines with the 2019 Legacy. They are both paired with avery efficient continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The engine will either be a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine which offers drivers 175-horsepower. Drivers will also have the option of getting a 3.6-liter 6-cylinder engine that generates 256-horsepower. Both engines will come in all-wheel-drive vehicles. With the 4-cylinder engine, drivers will get 25 MPG city and 34 MPG highway. The 6-cylinder engine will get 20 MPG city and 30 MPG highway.

The 2019 the Subaru Legacy is a joy to drive, with its comfortable driver's seat and great visibility.
