The Subaru Crosstrek gets some improvements for the 2020 model year that builds on the new list of features it added for 2019. The 2020 Crosstrek has some store changes starting with the exterior, which gets new LED lighting for the 2020 model year. The Crosstrek also comes with a back seat reminder as a standard safety tool. Some features that were previously available on the Crosstrek are now standard for the 2020 model year. The 2020 and 2019 Crosstrek both have the same amount of ground clearance, which is 8.7 inches, and they both come standard with all-wheel drive. Performance
The Subaru Crosstrek has the same performance features in 2020 and 2019. All trims get the same engine, which is a 2.0L with four cylinders. Power output is the same across the lineup, too, with a maximum HP of 152. The engine creates up to 180 LB-FT of torque for the Subaru Crosstrek. All-wheel drive is standard on all trim levels, but you have a choice of transmission. A six-speed manual transmission is standard for the Base and Premium trims, while an automatic transmission is available. An automatic transmission is standard for the Limited trim.
Appearance
The Subaru Crosstrek has a sporty appearance in 2020 and 2021. The Crosstrek has 17-inch wheels and roof rails, even on the base trim level. LED lights are also standard in 2021. The Crosstrek has chrome touches all around for a polished look. Some additional appearance features are trim-specific, including fog lights added to the Premium trim level. Other features are available for the Crosstrek in both model years, including a sunroof for the Limited trim.
Features
Many features are standard for the Crosstrek in 2020 and 2019, although the 2020 model has even more amenities. In 2020, the Crosstrek adds more standard safety technology, including a rear-seat reminder. The base trim on both model years has a 6.5-inch display screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. The Premium trim gets a few additional luxury touches, including heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a USB charging port. Leather seats are standard on the Limited trim, which also gets a more extensive eight-inch infotainment display system with navigation.
