In 2025, the Crosstrek Premium now has a more powerful engine. This is the same engine that continues to be standard for the higher trim levels. The four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine delivers 182 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. In addition, this Crosstrek Premium introduces hill descent control to the X-Mode feature. This feature continues to be standard for the Limited trim level. Every 2025 Crosstrek comes with all-wheel drive.

Appearance

Overall, the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek’s façade is unchanged. The model has a standout look with steeply sloping surfaces across the hood and roof. The sides make a commanding statement with practical body molding. As the molding runs over the wheel wells, it displays a squared-off look. At the front, the circular fog light ports are encased in molding. Slender headlights that angle toward the grille have an innovative LED design. The Premium trim level comes with 17-inch wheels with a machined finish, raised roof rails, and steering responsive headlights. The Crosstrek Limited adds 18-inch wheels, heated side mirrors and a heated windshield.
