Performance
For both of its body styles, the 2023 Impreza has one engine possibility across its four trims. This is a 152-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter system. The base trim pairs this engine with a five-speed manual transmission. The other trims have a continuously variable transmission. All of the Impreza trims have standard all-wheel drive. The 2023 Legacy has two powertrains available throughout its five trims. The first three trims in the lineup come with a 182-horsepower, 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. Appearance
While the 2023 Impreza and the 2023 Legacy are siblings, they have impressively different exterior designs. The Impreza has a sleek look, a long, cascading nose, and a bold descent through the roof. The slender grille sits atop an expansive bumper fascia that features chrome-accented air vents. From the LED-enhanced headlamps to the prominent wheel fenders, the Impreza is appealing from all angles. The 2023 Subaru Legacy has a sporty design with crisp, angled accents through the hood and sides. The large, bar-themed grille has a chrome accent that runs cleanly into the LED headlights. The lower fascia features C-shaped air vents that hold the foglights.
Features
Subaru has outfitted the Impreza and the Legacy with several of the same features.
