 What's New for the 2024 Subaru Ascent?

The popular Subaru Ascent benefited from extensive updates in its 2023 model year. These include a refreshed front-end, an 11.6-inch touch display screen mounted vertically, and standard smart device app integration. The new look of the Ascent's front end is styled with bullet-like foglamps and headlamp bulbs. The headlamp bulbs are surrounded by a three-sided LED accent bar. The tall grille is horizontally styled with a wide, body-colored bar that links to the headlights. Exterior features may include 18-inch wheels or larger, heated side mirrors, keyless entry, a power liftgate, a panoramic sunroof, and a few additional features.

The 2024 Ascent is a three-row crossover equipped with everything you need to be comfortable and connected on the road. In addition to the features introduced in the 2023 model year, the 2024 Ascent may come with a three-zone climate control system, USB ports, ambient lighting, a 120-volt outlet, an auto-dimming digital rear mirror, Cabin Connect, a Harman Kardon sound system with 14 speakers, a navigation system, leather upholstery, second-row sunshades, heated seats in the first two rows, an upgraded digital instrument panel, driver's seat memory functions and others. The Subaru Ascent is also smartly outfitted with many safety technologies, including a 360-degree camera, a 180-degree forward parking camera, a driver attention monitor, a rear seat reminder, adaptive headlights, trailer sway damping, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, and numerous others.

While the 2024 Ascent is designed as a practical people-mover well-suited for your daily needs, it also has the strong capabilities you need for adventures. All trims come with a turbo 2.4-liter, four-cylinder gas engine. This powertrain produces 260 horsepower. Across the full trim lineup, the Ascent is also outfitted with all-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission. Select trims have a 5,000-pound towing capacity.
