Performance
The 2024 Impreza Base and Sport trim levels have a 152-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter gas engine. The top RS trim for 2024 is equipped with a 182-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine. All trims are engineered with standard all-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission. In 2023, the Impreza was available in the Base, Premium, Sport, and Limited trim levels. All had the 152-horsepower engine with all-wheel drive. However, the Base trim had a manual transmission, while the other trims were outfitted with a CVT.
Appearance
The 2023 Subaru Impreza was available in sedan and hatchback body styles, and the 2024 version is only offered as a hatchback. Compared to the 2023 model year, the 2024 Impreza has a sleeker profile and a redesigned front end. The grille now has a wide, hexagonal shape, and the triangular LED headlights sit at a sharp angle. The sporty front bumper has also been reshaped and is now separated from the aggressively shaped foglamp ports. Select or all trims come with 16-inch wheels or larger, a sunroof, heated wipers, heated side mirrors, roof rails, keyless access, and adaptive headlights.
Features
The most significant feature difference between these two model years is the introduction of an 11.6-inch touch display screen in the 2024 Impreza. Features offered in both the 2023 and 2024 Impreza are Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a dual-zone auto climate control system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, forward collision detection, forward and rear auto braking, a push-button ignition, connected services, evasive steering assistance, a blind-spot warning, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a Harman Kardon sound system, a wireless charging station, and others.
